CBD Living Review
Choosing CBD products has become difficult, especially with the ever-increasing number of products on the market. Finding the best ones seem like a hard task. Trial and error becomes too costly. CBD Living is a huge CBD company with a large assortment of CBD products.
Now:
I’ve tested these products and will share my opinion in this CBD Living review. Hopefully, by the end of this review, you will be able to make a clear and concise decision and see why CBD Living is becoming one of my favorite CBD brands.
What better way to start a review than to give some background information:
CBD Living Company Information
CBD Living was founded by Bill De Segna, who is a veteran of the cannabis industry. CBD living first began in 2013 in Corona California and has since distributed their CBD to stores across the world.
The company’s hemp is grown organically in Colorado (one of the best places to grow hemp).
CBD living tries to distinguish it’s CBD by employing in-house scientists and using nanotechnology.
Their technology reduces CBD to nano-sized particles, thus increasing bioavailability. This is great considering CBD products tend to have low bioavailability, especially when consumed orally (most is lost through the digestive tract). Plus, they are continually working to improve their solution.
Another thing to note:
CBD Living’s products are full spectrum, yet contain zero THC (not even trace amounts). Full spectrum or “whole plant” CBDs tend to work better than isolate products because they contain cannabinoids from the full plant which work together synergistically.
The last thing to note about this company is that they have third-party lab testing for all their products.
I always speak about this; this is a great thing to have because you have some assurance as to the claims CBD companies are making about their products.

Enough with the info; here’s my CBD Living review:
My CBD Living Review
I received a deluxe sample pack to review. I will list each product in different sections, and give my opinion of them.
In the end, I will give my critique of CBD Living as a whole. But first, I have to talk about their packaging.
That’s right:
I was extremely impressed by the presentation. It came in a nice box with a beautiful but simple design, and inside were cutouts for each individual product and pamphlets with information.
I know that packaging doesn’t determine how well the product works, but I think the beautiful design and professional presentation reflects on the time and care the company puts into their products.
On to the first product:
CBD Living Vegan Gummies
The CBD Living vegan gummies were the first product I tried. I am a sucker for CBD infused gummy bears. The CBD living vegan gummy bears comes with 30 gummy bears; each gummy bear containing 10mg of CBD.
Now:
The first thing you notice is the flavor. The flavors are assorted: cherry, lime, pineapple, orange, and lemon. Each flavor is equally as good. They taste just like regular gummy bears, but with a slightly bitter aftertaste. The aftertaste isn’t unbearable by any means.
When taking these gummy bears I personally have been getting a little bit of a dry mouth, which is a typical side effect of CBD, but with these, I get it more than some other products, but it is not a big deal.
CBD Living Vegan Gummies Effects
These gummies are quite potent. I enjoy taking them for insomnia, when I have one before going to bed, I have really vivid dreams and tend to experience better sleep overall. I don’t fall asleep any quicker, but when I do, I get more restful sleep.
Also:
They work pretty well for my anxiety and for managing my chronic headaches, but I still think they work best for insomnia.
You could definitely make out the effects of these gummies, I would recommend them!
CBD Living Gummies (Non-Vegan)
The non-vegan gummies were the next product I tried. They are priced the same as the vegan gummies ($50), and also contain 30 gummies with 10mg of CBD each.
The only thing that differs for these gummies is the texture and taste. I prefer the texture of these gummies, they are a little chewier, but I honestly prefer the taste of the vegan ones.
The non-vegan ones have a stronger bitter aftertaste. It is still not unbearable, and the flavors taste great, but it is a little more bitter than the vegan ones.
The Effects
These gummies had the exact same effect on me as the vegan ones. They were excellent for sleep and worked well for everything else.
Best For:
CBD Freeze
CBD Freeze is a roll-on stick for pain and inflammation. It contains 120mg of CBD in an 88ml bottle. It is infused with other ingredients such as:
- Natural Menthol
- Aloe Vera Extract
- Arnica Montana Extract
- Ilex Leaf Extract
- Isopropyl Alcohol
- Tea Tree Oil
- Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)
- Water
To me, CBD Freeze has a smell akin to that of Vics. A lovely menthol smell, without smelling medicated. This stick works well to relieve minor aches and pains temporarily.
When applying, the icy sensation slowly creeps up on you and feels great. This is good to keep in a medicine pantry whenever you want to relieve achy muscles or knots.
Best For:
CBD Living Tincture (250mg)
The CBD living tincture comes in a 30ml bottle with a 1ml dropper. This oil is extracted via the supercritical CO2 extraction method.
There is no concrete dosing information, but I took 15 drops under my tongue for 60 seconds.
I just wanted to note that I am usually used to higher mg CBD (1000mg plus), I know I can take more drops but I stuck to an average amount.
The Flavor
CBD Living’s tinctures do not contain any other flavors. When taking this oil, it has a mild grassy taste, similar to lemongrass and then an earthy aftertaste. I don’t mind the taste at all, in comparison to other flavorless oils I have tried, this one seems to taste the mildest.
The Effects
Despite being low milligrams, this oil was rather potent. This must be attributed to the nanotechnology the company boasts.
A little went a long way. I found this oil to be excellent for sleep just like the gummies.
I also had vivid dreams from the oil and overall restful sleep. I feel that the oil worked better for managing my anxiety than the gummies did. The oil also worked well for controlling my headaches. Overall, I was delighted with the tincture.
Best For:
CBD Living 5 Gel Capsules
Each one of these capsules contains 25mg of CBD. The pills seemed to me like they worked just as well as the oil. They did, however, take slightly longer to kick in. These were also notably beneficial in managing my anxiety and insomnia. The capsules also produced vivid dreams. They worked very well.
Best For:
CBD Living Chocolate
The CBD Living bar is 26 grams, containing 120mg of full spectrum nano-CBD. Each square contains 15mg of CBD.
The taste is very noticeable with the chocolate. It has a unique taste due to the hemp. It is more hemp-like than it is chocolaty. I am not really a fan of milk chocolate, but I really don’t mind the taste of this because of the hemp taste. This one is definitely for hemp lovers, it even leaves an aftertaste which taste just like hemp seeds. I can’t use the word hemp enough to describe this.
The Effects
The effects of the chocolate are similar to the other products, it helped reduce my anxiety, maybe 10 minutes after eating 2 squares. This one does seem to give a little bit of energy, it could be attributed to the sugar. Overall they did a good job infusing CBD into this chocolate.
Best For:
CBD Living Water
CBD Living takes pride in their CBD Living water, which is a staple of their company. Upon entering their website you are greeted with pictures of their water.
Their 500mg bottle of water contains 5mg of nano-CBD. CBD living water maintains a 9+ pH and besides CBD, also contains D-Ribose, Co-enzyme Q10 and Methyl B12. This is high quality water.
What I Noticed
CBD living Water is odorless and tastes like clean refreshing water. No chemical taste and no hemp taste, just pure water taste. Now right away it gave me a little bit of a dry mouth like the other products.
But here’s the strange thing:
Maybe 15 minutes later, the dry mouth completely dissipated and I felt hydrated immediately afterwards. My mouth was no longer dry and felt refreshed. It was king of weird.
The Effects
I had my doubts with the water. I usually er on the side of CBD tinctures and find them to work better, but surprisingly the water worked really well. You can definitely make out it’s effects. It calmed me down, reduced my anxiety and gave me some peace of mind.
I recently tried the CBD water again when I had extreme anxiety. After drinking about half a bottle I was surprised at how much it reduced my anxiety. I did get a little drowsy though taking it in the day, which was probably due to the high bioavailability of the CBD.
It is something you have to try for yourself.
Best For:
CBD Living Lotion
The CBD lotion contains 250 mg of nano-CBD. It works to relieve dry skin and goes into the bloodstream providing you with a dose of CBD.
The Effects/Scent
The CBD lotion comes in three scents:
- Unscented
- Eucalyptus
- Lavender
To me the lavender one was the best and also had the strongest scent. It is a deep heavy lavender scent with light airy cream tones. Had a little bit of a pleasant musky smell.
The Eucalyptus lotion had a light and airy, slightly eucalyptus-like scent. Very pleasant and subtle scent with a hint of sweet.
The unscented lotion just simply had a subtle airy, typical lotion scent.
The lotion is white in color and rubs on very smooth, and feels water based. It leaves a moist sheen on your skin and leaves the surface smooth. The lotion worked very well for dry skin. I know that this is more of a moisturizing lotion, but being that CBD is an ingredient, I also applied it to my lower back soreness. It seemed to reduce the amount of sore I felt, not by a lot, but it did work. Overall, the lotion applied easily and left my skin feeling great.
Overall Thoughts of CBD Living
Overall, I felt that CBD Livings products were quite potent. More-so in terms of treating insomnia; all of their orally consumed CBD gave me very vivid dreams and a better sense of sleep. Make sure to set an alarm clock when taking their CBD, because you are not going to want to wake up!
That being said, their strain did make me a bit tired during the day; I enjoyed their CBD more at night.
I did feel like the dry mouth was a little more noticeable in their CBD products than other CBD products; it could be attributed to the high potency.
Now I know I am nitpicking, and that dosing is unique to the individual, but I wish they would give an average recommended dosage as a starting point for all the CBD novices like some other companies do.
Look:
This isn’t really an issue with gummies and capsules, because you usually just need one, this becomes an issue with the tincture.
As far as costs go, I find most of their products to be reasonably priced; especially since you are getting high quality CBD with nanotechnology. The water I think can be a bit pricey at $4.99 a bottle, if you are comparing it with other water. But this isn’t just any water–it is infused with CBD.
What I found helpful is that their website is loaded with info (which you can check out here).
They clarify a lot of things and give insight into their nanotechnology process and provide useful information for all of their products.
I was highly satisfied with CBD Living, they have many products to choose from, and the variety I tried was very potent. You could tell right away that they do work hard to perfect their solution.
Plus, as mentioned before, I love their packaging. CBD Living is starting to become one of my overall favorite CBD companies, and for good reasons.
They are doing everything right that a good CBD company should do. This includes creating full spectrum CBD with absolutely no THC, which is extraordinary.
You get the best of both worlds, 0 THC–just like a CBD isolate–and all the cannabinoids of a full spectrum CBD oil. It’s a win-win!

I’ve been avidly using CBD to deal with my anxiety, and have been fortunate to do so successfully. I started this blog to share my experience and knowledge with as many people as possible.

ok I took a small dose of the capsule and was unable to sleep
I just bought 2 bottles of CBD living Daily Tincture oil. 500mg in 1 fl. oz. bottle. This was my first purchase and use. I’m commenting only because after two hours now I feel absolutely no effect whatsoever. So I wanted to find any reviews of this brand. Initially I was told to only take 4 drops. Then after waiting an hour with no results I started thinking the owner of the store who sold the product miscommunicated and perhaps meant four full droppers. So I started with just one to be on the safe side. I waited about 40 minutes and did three more full droppers, each 1.0 ml back to back and held it all under my tongue for close to 4 minutes then swallowed. Now an hour and half later and zip, nada, nothing. This has turned out to be a big disappointment. I hurst myself last week and still have real pain in multiple places. I thought I’d test this oil to see if does all that is claimed. All I have to say is I want my money back. I bought two bottles since she gave me a first time buyers 25% discount. Now all I’m going to do is toll them in the trash. I lost $98.00 today. I’m sorry but the claims are clearly bogus. Certainly in my experience, that’s for sure. I want my money back! But I doubt that will happen. I will go back tomorrow and tell her that her product does nothing. May as well just had a sip of water. When will I ever learn!?

Sorry to hear this hasn’t worked for you. I’ve tested CBD Livings products and they worked pretty well. You may not notice CBD’s effects under extreme pain. In the case of extreme pain, you might want to try CBD daily, it should alleviate some of the pain.

I appreciated your honesty. I am apparently allergic to the olive oil in my cbd oil. I suffer from chronic pain and need a relatively high dose. So I guess I have to take a softgel at what dose?

Unfortunately CBD dosing is subjective to each person, it is recommended to start with the lowest dose possible and then work your way up from there until you find a dose that works best for you.
Some companies use MCT oil in their CBD oil instead of olive oil. Hope this helps.
