Coca-Cola and CBD?
While much is not known on Coca-Cola’s plan to implement CBD into their products, they did make a statement today:
We have no interest in marijuana or cannabis. Along with many others in the beverage industry, we are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world. The space is evolving quickly. No decisions have been made at this time.-Coca-Cola
It is too early to tell what exactly Coca-Cola’s plan is with CBD, but according to BNNBloomberg, cannabis company Aurora Cannabis is in talks with Coca-Cola with producing cannabis-infused drinks.
This is a huge step if the drinking giant Coca-Cola uses CBD in it’s beverages. News like this can escalate the cannabis market and expand the amount of products being infused with CBD. I’m looking forward to see what Coca-cola’s decisions are going to be towards CBD .
