Taiga Laboratories is a brand that specializes in high-quality CBD vape oils, with many different strains. Their vape cartridges are the closest thing to bringing the hemp plant straight to your vaporizer.

You might be wondering, how effective are Taiga labs’ vaping products and what do they taste like?

I took the guesswork out of this and I’m going to be as detailed as possible in this review of Taiga Laboratories.

Before I get to the review, I like to give some information on the company, that way we know exactly what kind of CBD they offer.

Information About Taiga Laboratories

As mentioned above, Taiga Laboratories only sells CBD vaping cartridges, with a variety of well-crafted strains.

Their vape cartridges don’t contain any added flavors, just pure hemp taste. Now each strain has variances in taste and subtle note changes.

Taiga Labs is comprised of scientists, chemists, farmers, and designers (what a team!). They strive to put out high-quality CBD.

“We breed, grow and extract all of our own biomass from a special strain of hemp specifically designed so that each chemical compound is in perfect harmony with each other to create a truly full-spectrum product.” -Taiga Laboratories

Here are some interesting points about Taiga Laboratories:

• Their products are all full spectrum, which gives you the synergistic effects of all the cannabinoids (with less than 0.1% THC)
• They have third party lab testing (provided by Green Leaf Lab) validating the claims of their CBD products.
• They use the supercritical CO2 Extraction method to extract their CBD. This is the preferred extraction method, as it preserves the full plant without leaving behind any harmful solvents.

Now:

One minor complaint I have about the companies website is that it is hard to gather some of this information, otherwise, it is pretty simple to navigate and you find exactly what you are looking for.

Everything looks good as far as the company’s information is concerned.

Simple enough. Taga Laboratories has 7 different CBD vape cartridges to choose from. These are either Sativas or Hybrids :

Hybrids

Sativas

• Sour Diesel
• Super Lemon Haze

*Sativa strains tend to be more energizing, while on the other end of the spectrum, Indicas tend to be more relaxing, and Hybrids are a mix of both strains.

That was simple enough, let’s get on with my Taiga Laboratories Review.

My Taiga Laboratories Review

I was sent three cartridges to review:

1. Gelato
2. Sour Diesel
3. Girl Scout Cookies

The Packaging

The first thing I noticed was the beautiful artwork on the package. Inside the package, you receive the stainless steel and glass cartridge, neatly and tightly packed in a styrofoam case, with rubber protective tips on each end.

Now I’m going to go through each cartridge individually and give my critique on the flavors and effects, then I will evaluate the company as a whole.

Keep in mind, when I review the flavors, I have never tried marijuana or smoked any flavorless hemp products in the past, so I am giving my unbiased opinion on the flavors and what I noticed.

Gelato

Flavor Profile

The flavor of the Gelato CBD cartridge was quite pleasing.

I noticed predominant citrus (this is probably attributed to the limonene terpenes) and peppery notes.

Another thing that was noticeable was that this had slightly grassy undertones, maybe a tad bit earthy and tasted a little like frankincense (if you ever burned frankincense, you’d know what I’m talking about).

The flavor was very bold (that’s why I put this in bold). This had a really good flavor, I enjoyed it very much.

The Effects

I had a very stressful day prior to trying this strain. It seemed to take an otherwise stressful day and calmed me down.

I had a million things on my mind. If you have ever blogged, then you know the stresses that come with it.

If my mind had a volume knob, it went from a 10 down to a 2. It was very serene.

This strain helped me become clear-focused and not worry about all the little things in the back of my mind.

What else:

This strain definitely increased my appetite and reduced nausea.

It wasn’t that good for insomnia though.

Taiga Laboratories did a great job on this one!
